This Privacy Policy explains how CVD-SYNC handles information when a user authorizes access to Google and YouTube services.

1. Information accessed

CVD-SYNC may access Google/YouTube account and YouTube resource information only after the user grants permission through Google OAuth 2.0. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include channel information and YouTube resources required to manage live-streaming workflows and related user-authorized actions.

2. How information is used

Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide functions initiated by the authorized user inside CVD-SYNC. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

3. Credential storage

OAuth credentials or authorization tokens may be stored locally on the user's computer so the application can maintain an authorized session and renew access when permitted by Google. CVD-SYNC does not publish these credentials.

4. Sharing and sale of data

CVD-SYNC does not sell Google user data. CVD-SYNC does not share Google user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored authorization data may remain on the user's device until the user revokes access, removes the local credentials, or the application is reconfigured. The user can revoke CVD-SYNC access at any time from the security settings of the Google Account used for authorization.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

CVD-SYNC's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
